Joint Restoration

AlloSource provides fresh articular allografts, which are refrigerated rather than frozen to maintain cell viability. Cells of fresh allografts can maintain viability for years post-transplantation. As surgeons experience more and more successful patient outcomes using fresh allografts, the need has grown. AlloSource is now the largest supplier of fresh articular allografts in the world.

In order to improve the availability of fresh allograft tissue AlloSource, in partnership with Community Tissue Services of Dayton, Ohio, created The Joint Restoration Foundation (JRF). Now tissue banks across the country can obtain fresh AlloSource allografts for their patients. Partners fund research to enhance safety and forge new applications, while promoting the beneficial uses of joint restoration allograft tissue. These include fresh osteochondral allografts, tendons, and meniscus.
