AlloSource distributes a significant portion of excess revenues to Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) corporate members to fund donation awareness and education programs in their local communities. AlloSource provides millions of dollars each year to support donation awareness and education programs and the development of new techniques and therapeutics to consistently improve tissue transplant.
In additional to these charitable contributions, AlloSource has committed significant funds to the Denver Children’s Hospital. The money is earmarked for two specific programs - the Children’s Hospital Burn Camps, a program that gives children and adolescents who are recovering from severe burns the chance to attend a camp and the Juvenile Firesetters Program, a critical and underfunded program that helps reduce fire setting activity among at-risk youngsters.
