The purpose of the Inventory Control Technician I (IC tech I) is to stage donor tissues In accordance with throughput requirements. The IC tech is expected to maintain accurate, up-to-date tissue inventory records, and conduct frequent partial physical cycle counts to verify accuracy of the records. IC techs are also expected to drive a company vehicle to transport tissue between AlloSource locations. This position will interact with other departments to ensure the necessary steps are taken to provide safe, transplantable products in a cost effective manner.
SPECIAL DEMANDS AND/OR HAZARDS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be completed on an annual basis to ensure compliance with the AlloSource insurance carrier requirements.
- Must be capable of lifting and handling shipping containers weighing up to 35 pounds. Must be able to stand, reach, and stretch in order to place and retrieve tissue in the bottom of chest freezers, and at the back of the top shelf of upright freezers.
- This position also requires the ability to organize and analyze a large volume of data, the ability to interact and communicate successfully, and the ability to use various software programs effectively. The Operations Support Technician is an entry-level position designed to offer support to the Processing staff. The Support Technician is responsible for acquiring regulatory knowledge in a GMP environment. This includes proper clean room etiquette and company policies. This may include, but is not limited to, wet vacuums, power washers, and mops. The Central Service Trainee is responsible for cleaning and decontaminating instruments, equipment, and reusable supplies used in the processing of human donor bone and tissue. This position assembles, prepares, and wraps instruments and equipment for sterilization, and maintains and stocks adequate supplies for the dept. This position is also responsible for maintaining records of all autoclave loads and all other records pertaining to Central Service documentation. This position requires the CS technician to lift a number of items that are at a minimum of 35 lbs. Standing for 6 to 8 hours is required depending on the task at hand. The risk of exposure to chemicals and heat from the autoclaves is also a factor and therefore protective clothing shall be worn at all times.

Maintenance Engineer

Must respond to a variety of problems in a timely manner to prevent delays in tissue processing. Qualified individual must be able to be on-call on a rotating basis to respond to equipment failures, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. Must be able to lift +35lbs. Travel is a necessity for this position, and therefore an acceptable motor vehicle record is required.

- 10 years experience in facility related maintenance,
