Centennial, Colo. — February 22, 2016 — AlloSource, one of the nation’s largest providers of cartilage, cellular, bone, skin and soft-tissue allografts for use in surgical procedures and wound care to advance patient healing, was named one of Denver’s Healthiest Employers in the medium company category by the Denver Business Journal. This is the fourth year in a row AlloSource has received this honor.

The Denver Business Journal competition recognizes companies of all sizes and industries that commit to making wellness a reality for their employees by creating and implementing wellness programs, as well as educating and promoting wellness in the workplace.

“The goal for our wellness program is to create an environment for employees to be productive, while at the same time working on engagement,” said Thomas Cycyota, AlloSource president and CEO. “It also provides great insurance control for both AlloSource and our employees because our employees are healthier overall. We are honored to be recognized for both our program and its results.”

AlloSource added several new wellness-focused resources last year aimed at fostering employee health. The company created an onsite fitness area with cardio training equipment, bikes, treadmills and weights to provide a convenient place for employees to exercise. AlloSource also brought on a full-time ergonomics auditor to review not only the operational employees, but also the administrative employees to get ahead of any potential repetitive motion injuries.

AlloSource’s robust Healthy Possibilities Wellness Program has received local and national recognition for its ability to drive employee engagement and lead to better business outcomes. The employee-driven program encourages AlloSource associates and their families to take wellness into their own hands. AlloSource employees and their dependents also have access to the onsite AlloCaresTM Health Clinic, operated by CareHere.
