Centennial, Colo. — December 5, 2017 — AlloSource, one of the nation’s largest providers of cartilage, bone, skin, soft-tissue and cellular allografts for use in surgical procedures and wound care to advance patient healing, today announced it received recognition from the American Heart Association for promoting a workplace culture of health and well-being.

The American Heart Association’s Workplace Health Achievement Index scores companies of all sizes on 55 best practices in seven categories: leadership, engagement, programs, policies and environment, partnerships, communications, and reporting outcomes. AlloSource received Silver-level recognition for its health and wellness efforts.

AlloSource’s wellness program has received local and national recognition for its commitment to driving employee health by empowering AlloSource associates and their families to become active participants in their own wellness. In addition, the company offers an onsite health clinic and fitness area. AlloSource also employs a full-time ergonomics auditor to help prevent and treat potential repetitive motion injuries.
